Solidarity Kitchen
Resource Donations

Solidarity Kitchen, in partnership with KIAC (Kitsap Immigration Assistance Center), is made up of a group of trusted and experienced community organizers responding to the kids and families experiencing food insecurity here in the North Kitsap School District in Washington State where we live and work, and where our kids go to school. Our community has been especially impacted as one third of our School District's families receive SNAP benefits. In addition, here in Kitsap County, federal workers make up 40% of the workforce, and many of these families were already on the edge and have worked without pay for three months.
We will be serving a free traditional Mexican meal on Tuesday, December 2 and will provide resources in the form of food cards, cash, menstrual supplies, and diapers and wipes.
Donations are requested for needed items
