RMU2 Registration
Models are everywhere. They guide decisions in complex, chaotic and uncertain worlds.
But they can’t eliminate that uncertainty. Instead, they frame it, interpret it, and sometimes obscure it. So how do we model responsibly under uncertainty? How do we make uncertainty visible, usable, and open to challenge? How can we use this to make modelling more effective and relevant? And who gets to decide what “responsible” means?
Join us at the Responsible Modelling under Uncertainty (RMU2) workshop on the 23-24th September to explore these questions together. Over 2 days, through a series of talks, panels and highly collaborative exercises we will animate these questions. We will be discussing issues in the context of a wide range of modelling disciplines, with a particular focus on climate, socioenvironmental, intergrated-assessment and climate policy modelling.
Attendance is free and available in-person (60 spaces) or online for all or part of the 2 days, lunch will be provided. Please see our programme for more scheduling information.
