"Queer Threads: Stitching Narratives Through Art” An Artitst’s Jam

We welcome budding writers, producers, songwriters, visual artists, and musicians who want to explore how local stories influence their artistic practice and generate new material.

No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a commitment to engage throughout the workshop.

Date: Saturday, 28 February 2026,
Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Venue: The Post Bar, 316 High Road N15 4BP London.

(Welcome to arrive at 1:00 PM for start of the workshop at 1.30PM)

Lunch: Available at the venue for purchase on a “pay‑what‑you‑can” basis (minimum £5). Lunch provided by Potzilla in collaboration with London School of Solarpunk & Autonomous Animal Action

Workshop Outline
Reflective Writing Exercises – Warm‑up activities to get your thoughts flowing.

Storytelling from the Archive – Listen to local stories and respond to a series of creative prompts.

Creative Expression – Work in your preferred medium—develop a character, sketch, doodle, compose music, etc.

Open Sharing Space – We will also create a welcoming space for the participants to share their own stories/ art and queer inspirations penned during the workshop or teenage inspirations.

Reccomend you to carry tools for your artistic expression-- laptop, notebooks, paint, colour, charcoal or musical instruments.

Feel free to bring any materials you need for your art form. We look forward to exploring together!
