Life, death and grief in the sciences

Hello! My name is Amber Griffiths, I am doing an MA in authorial illustration, which is all about telling stories through illustrations. A long time ago I also did a PhD in wildlife genetics and had a research career in that area.

For the final project of the MA I am interested in talking to science/social science researchers about how their field of work might have shaped their views on life, death and grief. I am doing some one-to-one interviews, but would also like to cast the net wider through this survey.

Most of the questions are optional, and it defaults to being anonymous, but there is a question at the end where you can add your name if you want to be attributed if any of your responses are used. With consent, the data will be used for the MA project, and may also be made public through exhibition, presentations and/or publication.

You can see my illustration work here or find me on mastodon or instagram.
